Description

This multi-day expedition threads together the Pacific Northwest's full range of landscapes — city skylines, alpine meadows, temperate rainforest, and wild Pacific coastline — all built around the Salish Sea and the Cascade volcanoes. The route moves from Seattle's waterfront and neighborhoods to the glacial high country of Mount Rainier, out to the wind-carved edge of the Olympic Peninsula, down the Washington and Oregon coast through Astoria and Cannon Beach, and inland to Portland before looping back to Seattle.
