This expertly guided expedition is designed to immerse you in the Southwest’s most iconic vistas while delivering the comfort, safety, and personalized storytelling that elevate every mile.
From the soaring spans of Delicate Arch to the narrows of Zion Canyon, each day brings new terrain, new discoveries, and a deeper connection to the natural world. With private transportation, curated hikes, and interpretive guidance throughout, this adventure is tailored for travelers who want to move beyond the ordinary and experience the heart of Utah’s canyon country.
Wildlife is always possible—especially bighorn sheep, mule deer, pronghorn, ravens, raptors, and desert-adapted small mammals—and the night skies can be spectacular when the weather cooperates. Recreation highlights include a guided off-road ATV/UTV experience near Moab, a horseback ride in the Bryce region, a spa reset near Zion, and a 30-minute helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon.

We’ll then return toward Moab and eat picnic-style lunch during the drive to the ATV meeting location with the Moab Tour Company.
The afternoon feature is a guided ATV/UTV ride, giving the group a fun, safe, and locally-led look at the rugged terrain that defines the Moab backcountry.

- Windows + Double Arch: short, high-reward follow-up hike; ~1.6 miles (~129 ft gain)

Overview
This morning is intentionally slower to balance the early start on Day 2, giving everyone time to sleep in, enjoy a proper breakfast, and catch up on rest. We’ll spend a little time in Moab’s shopping district for coffee, galleries, and local storefronts before departing town around noon. The drive to Torrey is a scenic transfer through changing desert and canyon landscapes, including a highlight stop to appreciate the Waterpocket Fold—a dramatic, nearly 100-mile-long geologic “wrinkle” in the Earth’s crust where tilted sandstone layers reveal the forces that built Capitol Reef’s rugged terrain.
We’ll keep the pacing relaxed with a comfort stop and optional photo pullouts as needed, then arrive mid-afternoon to check in and build in real recovery time—pool/hot tub, showers, and downtime—before dinner. If conditions align, we can also add a sunset photo excursion before retiring for the night in Torrey.
The evening stays low-key and organized, with a brief look-ahead at tomorrow’s pre-dawn Capitol Reef start so everyone knows exactly what to expect.

In the early afternoon, we’ll depart for Bryce on a scenic route, using the drive to transition from slickrock desert into higher-elevation country with a noticeably different feel.
If timing and energy allow, we’ll preview Bryce with a viewpoint near evening light, then wrap with a guest-choice dinner and an early night ahead of sunrise.

Later in the day, we’ll drive to Springdale, where the landscape tightens into Zion’s vertical canyon walls, and the trip’s “big cliff” chapter begins.
After check-in, the evening stays relaxed with guest-choice dinner and a simple briefing so tomorrow’s early start feels smooth.

Plan: breakfast, checkout, and airport logistics for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
Day 8 is non-touring, focused on a smooth checkout, breakfast, and airport logistics based on each traveler’s flight time at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
If schedules allow, we can add a simple coffee stop or quick viewpoint before heading to the airport, keeping it low-effort and stress-free. Your guide will manage timing and routing so the group can focus on packing and an easy transition home. It’s wise to arrive at the airport two hours before departure, and we suggest scheduling a flight no later than noon.
