Two-Day Private Tour: Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks
Overview
Experience the very best of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks on a two-day private adventure designed to showcase the region’s most awe-inspiring scenery, geothermal wonders, and abundant wildlife. Whether beginning in Bozeman, Gardiner, Paradise Valley, West Yellowstone, or Jackson Hole, your expert naturalist guide will tailor the journey to your starting point and interests.
Across two unforgettable days, you’ll witness erupting geysers, glacial peaks, roaring waterfalls, and the wild heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem—home to bison, elk, moose, bears, wolves, pronghorn, and eagles. This is the ultimate way to experience two of America’s most celebrated national parks in comfort, style, and at your own pace.
Day One – Yellowstone to Grand Teton National Park
Your journey begins in Bozeman, Gardiner, or West Yellowstone, with a day devoted to exploring Yellowstone’s geothermal and volcanic wonders. Highlights include Norris Geyser Basin, Gibbon Falls, the technicolor brilliance of Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, and the iconic Old Faithful Inn—the largest log structure in the world—where you’ll witness Old Faithful Geyser erupt.
From there, we’ll travel south through West Thumb Geyser Basin and stop at Moose Falls, a beautiful roadside waterfall tucked just inside the park’s southern border. Continuing into Grand Teton National Park, we’ll explore Elk Ranch Flats, the historic Cunningham Cabin, and the world-famous Snake River Overlook, made legendary by Ansel Adams’ photography. The day concludes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, surrounded by the jagged peaks of the Teton Range.
Day Two – Grand Teton to Yellowstone
We’ll start the morning exploring the highlights of Grand Teton National Park, traveling the Moose Wilson Road, the Mormon Row Historic District, and Dornan’s Trading Post, before visiting Jenny Lake, Signal Mountain, Oxbow Bend, and Colter Bay Marina.
From there, we’ll re-enter Yellowstone National Park via the South Entrance to visit West Thumb Geyser Basin, the Mud Volcano, and the wildlife-rich Hayden Valley. Crossing Dunraven Pass, we’ll venture into the famed Lamar Valley, often called “America’s Serengeti,” to look for bison, bears, and wolves as the sun sets over the northern range. The day concludes with your return to Bozeman, Gardiner, or West Yellowstone.
